New Basement and complete internal refurbishment with Interior & Lighting Design of Mews property.

A new basement with full internal re-modelling and reconfigured front elevation was granted permission in 2021. The proposals will transform a dimly lit, and subdivided Mews House into a calm and airy open plan family home. The introduction of an internal slot lightwell, innovative daylighting techniques and carefully considered glazing will ensure a light and tranquil interior, despite the ‘landlocked’ and ‘overlooked’ site.

The front elevation will be re-aligned to place the front door in the centre of the elevation with new traditional sash windows to either side. A new juliette balcony will sit centrally above with new sash windows to either side creating a modern take on the traditional mews frontage.
